Green Hill Paddle With Salt Ponds Coalition

When: Saturday, August 22 – Arrival 8:30 am; Launch 9:00 am
Where: Green Hill Civic Association Dock/Kayak Launch located on Green Hill Beach Road, South Kingstown Rhode Island

Learn about the beauty of Green Hill Pond as well as some of the challenges that it faces in light of nutrient and bacteria pollution, sea level rise, and climate change. Also learn what you can do to help protect our salt ponds. The tour will be led by Salt Ponds Coalition President and retired biologist, Art Ganz.

Participants must bring their own equipment including kayak/canoe/paddleboard, paddle, life jacket. Sunscreen and water are also recommended.

Parking for this event is extremely limited. Carpooling is highly encouraged.
