Not apathy, and definitely not confidence in this council’s ability to govern!!! I am totally disgusted with this council’s disregard for the ramifications and fallout as a result of their position on zoning. Zoning plays an important part in determining the town’s tax base which also affects the town’s budget immensely. With this council’s position on zoning. What happens to the value of a home that has a value of $800k in a residentially zoned area of 2+ acres when a neighbor decides they want to put an “additional” house on their property. What happens to the value of the $800k house?? Presently our neighborhood has a well water problem, E. coli bacteria seeping into the well water. Why worry about a budget when one is concerned about their lifetime investment getting destroyed by a totally irresponsible town council? It is like this council is narrow minded and not looking at the totality of the consequences the town’s citizens are going to have to face as a result of their position on zoning. I’m totally disgusted!!!

We voted! I don’t know what to make of the LOW turnout… Let’s hope it’s a sign of our residents’ confidence in our town government’s recommendation(s) – and not apathy.
