What: Learn about the February 1907 shipping collision between Quonochontaug and Block Island that killed over 150 people
Who: Presentation by Dan Harrington

The SS Larchmont sank in a collision with the Harry Knowlton on February 11, 1907 at about 11:30 p.m. The temperature was well below freezing, the wind was blowing, waves were crashing over the ship soaking people and coating them with ice.
