Rotini
Rotini is a female harbor seal weanling that stranded in Sandwich, Massachusetts on July 5, 2023. She was rescued by the International Fund for Animal Welfare and the following day she was transferred to Mystic Aquarium’s Animal Rescue Program. During the intake process, she was found to be very thin, dehydrated, and had a severe case of pneumonia. After months of receiving extensive medical treatments and diagnostics, she has now fully recovered. She has gained over 40 pounds and is ready to return to her ocean home!

Manicotti
Manicotti is a female gray seal who was rescued from Block Island on March 20, 2024, and taken to Mystic Aquarium’s Animal Rescue Program. She had several health concerns, including a thin body condition, pneumonia, and some lacerations on her face. She received a personalized treatment plan that included antibiotics, wound care, and nebulization therapy. Manicotti is now fully recovered, and she’s finally ready to go back to her ocean home.
