2026 Memorial Day Parades And Observances

Parade on Old Post Road on Sunday
When: Sunday, May 24 at 1 p.m.
Where: Starts at the South Kingstown line and ends at Charlestown Liquor Store (see parade route map).

Observances in Ninigret Park on Sunday
When: Sunday, May 24 at ~2:15 p.m.
Where: Charlestown Naval Airfield Memorial in Ninigret Park
What: A memorial service to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Parade in Carolina on Monday
When: Monday, May 25 at 11:00 a.m.
Where: Starts at the Richmond-Carolina Fire Station on Richmond Townhouse Rd. and continues South on RT 112 and ends at Grandpre Park in Charlestown, just past the intersection with RT 91.

The organizers of the Carolina parade welcome any and all who wish to participate with floats, antique cars/trucks, tractors, police, fire, ambulance corps and any civic groups who wish to attend.
