Traditional Ecological Knowledge Walk Along Pawcatuck River

A Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) walk focuses on understanding nature through Indigenous perspectives and ecological knowledge.

The Stewardship Council for the Wood-Pawcatuck Wild and Scenic Rivers invites you to walk along the Pawcatuck River with a citizen of the Narragansett Indian Tribe. Traditional Ecological Knowledge honors the wisdom and ancestral knowledge of the land. The walk will focus on the relationship between humans and the natural world through indigenous knowledge.
