Electronics Recycling Drop Off

When: Saturday, June 6 from 9 am to noon
Where: Charlestown Mini Super, 4071 Old Post Road, Charlestown
Why: Indie Cycle is offering this great opportunity to dispose of your unwanted electronics that can be either recycled, reused or refurbished.

Items accepted at no charge:
Computers, laptops, servers, monitors, televisions, routers, tablets, cell phones, mice, keyboards, fax machines, plastic speakers, toner cartridges, CD/DVD players, disks, radios, wires, cable, stereo components, gaming equipment, telephones, microwaves, small household appliances, power tools, auto/marine batteries, and battery back-ups. Anything with a wire!

  • $20 disposal fee applies per air conditioner, small refrigerator, or freezer, dehumidifiers, water coolers, and all other coolant containing devices.
  • $10 disposal fee applies per unit for large wooden speakers (floor style), printers,
    hover board and per razor scooter with integrated battery.
  • $5.00 disposal fee per unit for small wooden speakers (shelf style).
  • $50.00 per unit disposal fee for printers 4ft and larger, copy machines.

Not accepted:
Any type of light bulb or fluorescents, vapes, disposable/single-use batteries, smoke or carbon monoxide detectors, thermometers, thermostats, glass blender bowls, microwave glass plates, furniture, electric organs/pianos, heating pads/blankets, blood pressure cuffs, cushioned chairs, mattresses, plastic bags, cardboard, rigid plastic bins, Styrofoam, wood, firearms, or hazardous waste such as paint or chemicals.
