Salt Ponds Through New Eyes

Create, reflect, enjoy time by the Pond, and appreciate it through new eyes.

Join Salt Ponds Coalition and local artist, Frances Topping and look at the salt ponds and their surroundings with “new eyes.” Frances will help as you record thoughts and observations in quick sketches and notes. Using minimal materials, you can produce a memorable keepsake of your time at the salt ponds. No prior drawing experience is necessary; all levels welcome.

Materials needed Materials needed include a pen or pencil, and notepaper (with a backing) or a sketchbook (multimedia ones are good). Frances and the Salt Ponds Coalition will bring some extra supplies, including colored pencils. Participants are welcome to bring their own colored pencils, a small watercolor kit, micron pen, and waterbrush or brush and water container.
