Meet Candidates And Sign Their Nomination Papers Sunday, July 5

Please join us on Sunday, July 5 anytime from 1 pm to 3 pm, at the Charlestown Mini Super and help CCA endorsed candidates get on the November ballot.

UPDATE: Monday and Tuesday are now forecast to have rain. We were planning to collect signatures all three days, but we are likely to get rained out those two days. Please come on Sunday if you can

• When: Monday, July 6 from 1 pm to 3 pm (if it is not raining)
• When: Tuesday, July 7 from 1 pm to 3 pm (if it is not raining)

What: If you are registered to vote in Charlestown, all we need is your signature on the candidates’ nomination papers. These candidates will be volunteering their time for the next two years or longer, please take a few minutes of your own time to help them get started.

We will have individual nomination papers for each of the following 7 Independent local candidates.

Town Council: Bonnie Van Slyke and Sasha Puchalski

Planning Commission: Coleen Galvin Yaroshenko, Ruth Platner, Frances Topping, and Gordon Willcox

Town Moderator: David Wilkinson

We are also supporting Holly Eaves, Linda Lyall, and Craig Louzon for Chariho School Committee; supporting Cynthia Drummond for Town Council; and giving qualified support to Stephen Stokes for Town Council. The School Committee candidates and Cynthia and Steve are running as political party candidates rather than Independents and they gather their signatures differently. Political party nomination papers put all party candidates together on one sheet.
