What: Release of a yearling male harp seal back to the wild

“Pappardelle”
Pappardelle is a male harp seal who is about 1-year-old. He was found stranded, malnourished, and dehydrated in Dartmouth, MA. He was rescued by the International Fund for Animal Welfare on March 20, 2024 and was then transferred to the Mystic Aquarium’s Animal Rescue Clinic for rehabilitation. After a month of world-class care in the Clinic, he has made a significant recovery and is now ready to be released back into the wild.

Please do not bring your dogs to the release!
