Decorate Your Car Or Truck For Trunk or Treat

When: Saturday, October 28 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Where: Ninigret Park Parking Lot
Pre-register: Trunks must pre-register to participate

Dress the kids in costumes and enjoy trick or treating with a twist; instead of going from house to house, participants will trick or treat from one decorated car trunk to another.

Trunk or Treat provides a safe and fun way for families to enjoy Halloween!

Calling all car owners! Dress in costume, decorate your car (or truck) and join the fun, trick or treating in Ninigret Park.

If you wish to volunteer you must pre-register. For more information visit the town website www.charlestownri.gov or stop by the Parks and Recreation office at Charlestown Town Hall.

If you wish to decorate your car for the Trunk or Treat, you MUST pre-Register.

  • Car owners must register their vehicles to be allowed to participate at this event.
  • Cars must remain at the site from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • For more information on pre-registering call the Parks and Recreation Office at 401-364-1222
  • You can register online at the Parks and Recreation website

If you are not going to hand out candy, you do not need to register. Children can trick or treat from one decorated car trunk to another starting at 6 p.m.
