Ninigret Park Arts And Crafts Show Returns

When: Saturday, September 19 from 10 am to 4 pm (rain date September 26)
Where: Ninigret Park in Charlestown

This is the 3rd year for the Ninigret Arts and Crafts show and there will be artists, woodworkers, potters, jewelers, quilters, crochete and macrame crafters and much more. There are about 50 exhibitors in total.

Charlestown artisan and woodworker, Brian O’Connor of South County Paddles, will again have a booth with many of his fish dioramas.

The show will be located with access to the small swimming pond, a kid’s playground, picnic shelters, trails, and access to the salt pond from within the Ninigret National Wildlife Refuge with a kayak launch area.

Food: Food for sale by Downey Weaver American Legion Post 34, Dells, and others.

Music: Ron Drago will perform. Ron is a guitarist and singer-songwriter based in the Stonington, Connecticut area.

Anadromous Ascension refers to the migration of fish, like river herring, from the ocean to freshwater rivers to spawn.
