Have You Seen Any Bald Eagle Nests?

Have you seen any Bald Eagle nests? If the answer is “yes”, then the Rhode Island Division of Fish and Wildlife would like to hear from you!

To report a nest, contact the Division’s Non-game Bird Biologist by sending an email with your nest sighting to Sam Miller, Non-game Bird Biologist at samuel.miller.ctr@dem.ri.gov

To ensure the privacy of landowners and the safety of birds, reports will not be distributed outside the agency.

The Rhode Island Division of Fish and Wildlife is seeking the public’s help to identify Bald Eagle nests throughout the state. With your help, they can keep the nesting database up to date to better inform conservation in Rhode Island.

For help identifying Bald Eagles at different life stages, check out the photos at https://www.onthewingphotography.com/wings/2011/02/16/bald-eagles-one-to-five-years-old/

Please send Bald Eagle nest locations to DEM, not to CCA!
