Westerly Library To Host Photography Exhibit By Planning Commission Candidate Carol Mossa

When: Wednesday, November 2 through Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
Opening Night: Wednesday, November 2 from 5 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Where: The Hoxie Gallery at the Westerly Library
What: A solo exhibit by Charlestown resident and urbex photographer and author, Carol Mossa.

Entitled Beauty Among the Ruins, Mossa uses her art to find beauty among the ruins of abandoned schools, theaters, hotels, hospitals, farmhouses, junkyards and barns.

Join Carol for the opening night of her month-long solo exhibit on November 2 from 5 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. At the exhibit you will view thirty original images of abandoned properties from New England, New York, Tennessee and beyond. She is the author of three books, including Linger Longer: Lessons from a Contemplative Life.

Besides being an accomplished photographer, Carol is a candidate for Planning Commission in the 2022 election. You may have met Carol as she has gone door-to-door campaigning, or at one of our several meet and greets with candidates. This photography exhibit is a chance to get to know even more about Carol.

Carol’s photography of abandoned properties gives her a unique perspective on traditional architecture and landscapes and adds to her qualifications to serve on Charlestown’s Planning Commission.

You can learn more about Carol Mossa and our other very qualified Planning Commission candidates, Walter Mahony and Lisa St. Godard, at our website.

You can meet Carol and all the 2022 candidates we have endorsed at our October 27 Meet and Greet.
