The Tomaquag Museum Team invites you to join them in celebrating Nikommo, a beloved Narragansett tradition that’s all about giving back. It’s a fantastic chance to dive into Native arts and enjoy some amazing storytelling.
In the Spirit of Nikommo – A Time of Giving – Nikommo Artist Market, native art and storytelling.
This annual Indigenous Artist Market is free to attend. In the spirit of Nikommo, the Tomaquag Museum Team invites you to bring a gift to share with others. All donations will be delivered to their community partner, the Jonnycake Center, for distribution to families in need. Suggested items include new clothing, toys, and other thoughtful gifts. Your generosity helps honor the tradition of giving that lies at the heart of Nikommo.
Celebrate Nikommo with the Tomaquag Team! Join them for your holiday shopping and support Indigenous artists. Stop by anytime between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM at the Quonochontaug Grange.
PLEASE NOTE! There is parking at the side and back of the Quonochontaug Grange, but there is no parking in front of or in the rear of the Dunns Corner Fire Station.
