Narragansett August Meeting / Pow Wow August 9 & 10

Where: All activities will be held on tribal land off of Rt. 2 and Old Mill Road in Charlestown
Cost: Admission is $10 for adults, $3 for children and $7 for seniors
When: Saturday, August 9, and Sunday, August 10, 2025

  • Gates open at 10 a.m. both days
  • The Grand Entry will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday
  • Sunday services will be held at the tribe’s church at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The Narragansett Indian Tribe is once again inviting the public to share in the oldest recorded pow wow in North America. This will be the 350th Annual Thanksgiving of Green Corn, also known as the Narragansett Tribe’s August Meeting.

Chief Sachem Anthony Dean Stanton has invited all of Rhode Island to join the tribe and share traditional food, singing, and dancing.
