Join U.S. Fish & Wildlife staff for an enlightening evening exploring the diverse world of fungi and mushrooms! They will offer an introductory presentation on the importance of fungi, their diversity, and practical insights into both wild and cultivated mushrooms and walk the nature trails around Kettle Pond Visitor Center to look at mushrooms.

Learn about the vital role fungi play in ecosystems, different types of mushrooms, and the basics of mushroom cultivation and utilization, while also getting an opportunity to experience local mushrooms and practice your identification skills along the trails of Kettle Pond. There will also be opportunities for leaf print painting and mushroom craft as well.

Kettle Pond Visitor Center is located on Bend Road, directly off of Rt. 1 in Charlestown
