There is a historical cemetery #52 on North Niantic Drive. A year ago, three women undertook the humongus task of clearing the brush, tangled vines, poison ivy, etc. With the help of a couple of men with chainsaws, we were able to clear. With the help of the DPW, all the brush was removed. Then we raked the ground and Larham donated 40 yards of wood chips, that needed to be spread. A bench was added as well has some solar lights and a wind chime. This spring we began to plant perenials. The result is a lovely open space to reflect on the past. We are always looking for-more perennials to continue beautify this once forgotten cemetery.
