Charlestown Police Department Grows Beards To Fight Cancer

During the month of November, thousands of people will join in what is now commonly referred to as No-Shave November.

Members of the Charlestown Police Department are doing their part by letting their hair grow free to embrace what most cancer patients will lose during their battle and inviting you to join their efforts.

If you see Charlestown officers on the road sporting a beard and/or mustache, they have donated to the cause and are participating in the fundraiser.

This year’s campaign will support cancer prevention, research, and education.

Charlestown Police Department’s goal is to raise at least $2500. Times are tough, and 2021 hasn’t been easy on many, but if you are able, consider leaving a donation in support of the team on the Charlestown Police Team page.
