Flying High Over Mill Pond Preserve
Charlestown photographer Vic Dvorak recently flew his camera equipped drone over Mill Pond Preserve and captured this stunning photograph below. The photo shows Mill Pond with surrounding woodland, and coastal ponds and the ocean in the distance.
Mill Pond Preserve is an 80 acre property owned and managed by the Charlestown Land Trust. Mill Pond is part of our town’s history with the remnants of a once thriving trout hatchery found on the property. There are trails set in woodland on the edge of a pond.
To learn more about Mill Pond Preserve, visit the Charlestown Land Trust website, or the Mill Pond Preserve section of the CCA Guide to Public Recreation/Conservation Areas in Charlestown Rhode Island.
Thank you Vic for sharing your beautiful photographs!

There are interesting springs in the stream in Mill Pond Preserve and the site of the old fish hatchery. Lots to explore in Charlestown.
