Donna Chambers

Donna Chambers

As a result of the superior efforts of the administration, teachers, school committee, parents and students, Chariho School District is number three in the state. Maintaining this status requires a school committee that supports the administration in making decisions that are economically sound, academically challenging and fair for all students. Donna understands that the challenges of education have shifted in the past few years and administrators, teachers, parents and students must look at teaching and learning in a different way. Implementing Common Core Standards into curriculum raises the bar and requires the introduction of digital technology into the learning process. Schools must provide the resources for all students to thrive in a digitally rich learning environment. Chariho School District is leading the way and Donna wholeheartedly supports this effort. Donna’s goal is to remain on the School Committee to continue the valuable work that is being done for all kids.
