Owners of beachfront property in Rhode Island went to court Friday to fight a new state law that moved the border between their private land and the public beach to 10 feet inland from the "seaweed line." Story includes a link to the lawsuit.

Cost: Music and Movie are Free. Dinner - pay for as little or as much as you want to eat.
Music and dinner starts at 6 p.m. and the movie begins at dusk.

Where: YMCA Camp at Watchaug Pond, 160 Prosser Trail, Charlestown (map in post)
Cost: $60 a ticket. Food, beer, wine, music, and a good time are included.
The Charlestown Land Trust (CLT) is hosting a summer picnic, and YOU are invited! Join the Land Trust for an evening of music, BBQ, and good company. Picnic is rain or shine!
