NINIGRET NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE, CHARLESTOWN, RI
Participants will enjoy learning about the basics of birding with local expert, Roger Masse. The series of walks will take us around the southern part of RI, through management areas and nature preserves, from coastal ponds and shores to inland woods and rivers in search of some of the many bird species who make their winter homes here. Most walks are on easy trails, but be prepared for cold weather. Bring binoculars. Field guides are helpful. Pre-registration is required. You will receive the meeting location when you register.
