Help Charlestown Land Trust enjoy and maintain Mill Pond Preserve
Mill Pond Preserve
Mill Pond is an 80 acre property owned and managed by The Charlestown Land Trust (CLT). Mill Pond is a special part of our region’s history as well as a place for quiet walks set in woodland on the edge of a spring fed pond. The remnants of a once thriving trout hatchery are also present. The CLT has built a trail system on the property which was opened to the public on Earth Day, 2005.
Coming from Rte. 1 South, travel 1/2 mile N on Route 2 / 112 and it’s on the right. Look for the small CLT sign that says Mill Pond Preserve. Drive right in and park. There is a small, grassy field above the first parking area.
Come along with a rake, trimmers and we’ll work together to spruce the place up, meet your neighbor, and share light refreshments.

Help preserve and protect our little corner of the world. Charlestown is a gift to those who live or visit. Conserving our natural resources and protecting strategic parcels will benefit all of us. This year alone your donations have protected 115 acres of land into perpetuity with conservation easements or title. We are working hard to protect what you love.
