Update and Discussion of Federal Railroad Administration Plan at Kettle Pond

When: Thursday, March 30 at 7PM
Where: Kettle Pond Visitor Center, 50 Bend Rd., Charlestown
What: Status Update and Discussion on “Old Saybrook to Kenyon Bypass”

The “waiting period” after the publication of the Final EIS ended on January 31. The “extension” to receive comments was granted until the publication of the Record of Decision (ROD). The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has said the ROD could be published anytime between now and December 31st, 2017.

At our March 30th meeting we’ll discuss how we found out about the plan, what we expect next, what we should do now, and what we’ll do when the ROD is published. Please bring your questions and ideas.
