Give Food for Christmas

The holidays are rich in good food and drink. We shouldn’t forget to thank the farmers who make it all possible and also those who sadly experience hunger this time of year. Your year end gifts to these volunteer organizations are tax deductible.

Give Thanks to Local Farmers

The Charlestown Land Trust Farmers’ Market – The Farmers’ Market offers the opportunity for the community to meet and celebrate a summer morning, exchange ideas, and reap the bounty of local farms. Farm fresh, locally grown and produced fruits, vegetables, eggs, meats, cheese, breads, pastries, seafood, flowers, honey and more. The market also supports local artists and craftspeople providing a unique shopping experience as well as the freshest food possible. Anyone who has been well fed at the market should know it is a volunteer effort to support local farmers and help them keep their land in farming rather than development.
