Community Artists Program Art Opening
Community Artists Program Art Opening Scheduled for Friday, July 10th, 5pm-7pm at the Kettle Pond Visitor Center
Coordinated by Refuge volunteer and artist Wendy Rappaport, in a continuing effort to connect visitors to nature, the Community Artists Program displays nature inspired artwork at the Kettle Pond Visitor Center in Charlestown.
Two local artists, Wendy Crooks and Robin Spears, will begin showing their work at the Center the week of July 1st. Their artwork will be displayed for the entire month of July and is viewable by the public 7-days a week from 10am-4pm.
An art opening hosted by the artists is scheduled for Friday, July 10th, from 5pm-7pm, at the Kettle Pond Visitor Center, Charlestown. The public is welcome to drop by any time between 5pm and 7pm to view the artwork, meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments.
“It’s a great opportunity for local artists to have their work showcased while encouraging a connection to nature for the visitors who will see it at the center,” said Wendy Rappaport.
