The Parades Aren’t Over Yet
Did you miss the Memorial Day Parade in Cross Mills, or is one parade just not enough?
There is still another Memorial Day Parade in Charlestown this weekend. The Memorial Day Parade through the historic village of Carolina combines the beauty of the Pawcatuck River and well loved homes and mill buildings that are recognized by the National Register of Historic Places, with the respect and remembrance of this important day.
The Memorial Day Parade in Carolina, begins at the Carolina Fire Station, on Route 112 (Carolina Back Rd), just across the Pawcatuck River in Richmond. The parade ends at Grand Pre Park, across from St. Mary Parish at 437 Carolina Back Rd., on the Charlestown side of Carolina.
The Carolina Memorial Day Parade begins at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 25.
