Chariho Needs You Starting March 3
Chariho invites members of the community to learn more about its finances and programs in March, and it asks for your vote in the April 7 referendum.
Budget Discussion, March 3, 7:30 PM, Chariho Middle School Auditorium
A quorum of 25 voters from each of the three Chariho towns is required to open discussion the FY16 budget on Tuesday, March 3, at 7:30 PM, in the Chariho Middle School auditorium. Registrars from the Towns will greet voters at the door, and the hope is that many more than the required number will attend. The annual discussion is informative and includes parents, teachers, and taxpayers as well as the administration and school committee. For more information, see www.chariho.k12.ri.us.
Artessy, March 27 and 28, Chariho Middle and High Schools
On March 27 and 28, Chariho will host the 23rd annual Artessy and Kansas City Buffet. The district wide event showcases the visual and performing arts and features exhibits from technology education, agriculture, and Career and Technical programs. It offers the community the opportunity to see the diversity and quality of work being done at Chariho. The Friday night Kansas City Buffet never disappoints.
