Withdrawn candidate still on ballot, District 36 meet candidate event

Lisa DiBello withdrew from election, but her name is still on ballot
The state printed the November 4 ballots in late September before Lisa DiBello withdrew from the Town Council race. This means her name will still appear as a candidate for Charlestown Town Council. She is the second Democrat to withdraw from the Town Council race. The earlier withdrawal occurred before the ballots were printed. Despite nine names on the ballot, there are now only eight people running for Town Council, three with the Charlestown Democratic Town Committee and five as Independents endorsed by CCA.

It will be held on Wednesday, October 15, from 6-8 p.m. at The Cove, 3963 Old Post Rd, Charlestown (across from the Post Office on Rt. 1A).
