Save the Dates, July 5 and July 6, for signing nomination papers

Please join us this Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m, July 5 and 6, at the Quonnie Grange and help CCA endorsed candidates get on the November ballot.

In order for a local candidate to be placed on the November election ballot they must get at least 50 valid signatures of registered Charlestown voters. Because some names get rejected, more than 50 signatures are required to ensure that enough are deemed “valid”. Signing a candidate’s papers, does not mean you have to vote for them in November, it simply allows them to get on the ballot.

The Quonnie Grange at 5664 Post Rd. is on Rt. 1, between East and West Beach Rd. It is between Larry Dunn’s Veterinary Clinic and the Dunn’s Corners Fire Station, just before St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church.
