Help CCA Endorsed Candidates get on the November Ballot

In order for a local candidate to be placed on the November election ballot they must get 50 valid signatures of registered Charlestown voters. Because some names get rejected,  more than 50 signatures are required to ensure that enough are deemed “valid”

Candidates will be at the Quonochontaug Grange on Friday and Saturday (July 6 and 7) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with signature papers for you to sign.

Signing a candidate’s papers, does not mean you have to vote for them in November, it simply allows them to get on the ballot.

We will have nomination papers for the following candidates
For Town Council:
Ron Areglado
Tom Gentz
Dan Slattery
George Tremblay

For Planning Commission:
Connie Baker
Gordon Foer
Peter Herstein
Jan Knost
Ruth Platner

Please join us either this Friday or Saturday from 11 to 2 at the Quonnie Grange and help our endorsed candidates get on the November ballot.

Here is a Google Map that shows the Quonnie Grange at 5664 Post Rd. The Quonnie Grange is on Rt. 1, between East Beach Rd. and West Beach Rd. It is between the Veterinary Clinic and the Dunn’s Corners Fire Station, just before St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church.

Please join us Friday and Saturday under the shade in front of the Grange!
