Star Sightings in Charlestown

Charlestown Citizens Alliance
July 30, 2011

Skies are clear and Frosty Drew is open tonight – Saturday July 30 !!

In light of the bad viewing conditions last night and that tonight looks fantastic, they have decided to open the observatory tonight as a rain date. They will open at 8:30PM with views of Saturn. Later, they will point their telescopes towards Sagittarius and the center of our galaxy. As the night progresses they will view Uranus and Jupiter and comet P1 Garradd. The Delta Aquarids meteor shower should put on a show tonight also.

Try not to miss this great opportunity to see Charlestown’s natural light show. As usual there are more events on our Community Bulletin Board. http://charlestowncitizens.org/local-news/cbb/

Thanks for sending us your neighbors’, friends’, relatives’ emails–our CCA list continues to grow. Know of anyone else to add to our list–send us an email with their email address.
